How To Train Your Dragon is an adaptation of DreamWorks animated film. The show is based on the book by Author Cressida Cowell. The show is about a boys relationship with his father while Vikings and dragons try to live together. The dragons have names like Night Fury and Red Death. It took 50-member creative team 2 years to complete the 23 fire beathing dragons.
The young boy is named Hiccup and lives in a land where dragons are feared and killed.
“It’s about a young boy standing up for what he believes in and it’s about a father learning to listen to his son,” Morgan said. “And it’s about learning to accept differences.
“I think of (How to Train Your Dragon) as a four-dimensional play. The audience becomes immersed in the action, even feeling the heat from the flames. I reach beyond (the conventional stage) to address the audience directly a number of times.”
